announce the formation of a new division: OptiChem™.
This division was designed to answer the engineering needs of many customers
who require a more customized and expansive machined product line.
"The scientific marketplace has changed so much, and combinatorial chemistry has evolved into more parallel synthesis", says Steve Ware, President of Chemglass, Inc. Chemglass is producing not only the custom engineered products but also a line of standard items for use in parallel synthesis equipment.
At the present time, current products available through the OptiChem™ Division include: Reaction PIE-BLOCKS™, Centrifugal Evaporator Blocks, OptiTherm™ Round Bottom Flask Blocks, and the Tempstir™ Overhead Stirrer with built-in temperature monitor. One of the first projects to come out of the OptiChem™ line ended up saving a customer over $300,000 annually in labor costs!
